just want to say a massive thank you to hazel and all the staff for perservering with yesterdays meeting and letting us have our final despite the rain i had a blast and have booked in for next mondays meeting also want to say thank you to chris (cj race photos) for my merit award didnt have no competion for it but it made the journey worthwhile for me
all sarahs footage is now in the general section hope u enjoy and see u all monday

just wondering when the grades are going to be updated?? several drivers have scored alot of points including some scoring over 30 in a meeting which means going up a grade for next meeting. be nice to know which grade we all should be starting from for sundays meeting.

i thought yesterdays meeting (1st april) was quite good! lots of close racing and not a great deal of contact. the second heat was really close with less than the length of the straight between 1st place and me in 8th (last)!! just shows how good the md rods can be. just think how much better even still it would be with more cars on the track. I know of at least TEN more mondeo drivers who have said they are planning to do some meetings at skegness this season! and as far as i know they all have cars ready or nearly ready. Add to this a few swaffham based drivers who i have heard may pay us a visit at some point this summer we could have getting on for twenty mondeos on track!! That would give the paying public some good racing to watch. I think they must have enjoyed our races better than watching 4 unlimited bangers rod round on sunday!!! so come on everyone lets try to get a record turnout for the mondeos this next meeting on sunday!!!

1300 Saloon Drivers
During the last 48 hours unfortunately Startrax have removed their 1300 Saloon fixtures that were in association with Skegness & Buxton Raceways. We wish Steve well.

Both Matt (Buxton ) and myself have been asked to change to Spedeworth & Trackstar rules, but we feel at this stage, that as we promised last October 2011 at the drivers meeting that there would not be any rule changes for 2012 and if we change without consultation we would be going back on our word. (I am on holiday so unable to speak to Scrutineers / Drivers reps and more importantly you the Drivers)

I am awaiting to hear from Startrax to see if they have any slot(s) for us to run on their circuits, Steve has to check to see if this is possible.

There is nothing to stop you having two cars & two licences if you so wish, (Paul Butler Trackstar has agreed to this along as they are markedly different cars).

Rest assured that we are fully committed to and will continue to support 1300 Saloons as we always have done. We have a new sponsor coming on board for the track championship, Valley Services have increased the Gold Roof Series money by 50%. White & Yellow Grade awards will be sponsored by Chris Jackson at every meeting and other sponsors have also shown an interest in supporting this great formula.

Several speedweekends are arranged for Skegness and also at Buxton Matt has a couple arranged. We have dates also at Barford and depending on interest I am sure we can get some more.

Great to see another full year of meetings planned for the mondeos at skegg, I myself can't wait, some new drivers on route plus most of last years faithfulls it has got all the ingredients for being possibly the best year yet. Lots of cars being repaneled and painted and even at least a couple of brand new ones means it's gunna be a great 2012.
On a slightly different note I know of at least two cars, nearly complete if any one wants or knows of any body wanting a Mondeo to post on here.
